I just kept signing up for everything…

Last night was back to school night.  I went into the night knowing I would volunteer for something. My daughter started kindergarten and I knew I wanted to be involved in some capacity.  I was so enthused with everything going on at the school and how amazed I was with the older grades parents’ involvement that I was really in the volunteering mind set.  I think I volunteered for enough to be full time job.  I left wondering if I had signed up for TOO much.  Is that even possible?  I don’t want to be “THAT” mom who seems overbearing, but I want to help and I figure I have the ability to help.  My daughter was REALLY excited when I told her that I volunteered to help in her classroom (as one of my many tasks).  So if you need me you can probably find me at the school working on some sort of project. I think I volunteered for about 7 different things. Has this happened to you before or am I just extra crazy?
