I had an amazing racecation in Napa Valley. I was picked to be a race ambassador for the Zooma Women’s Race Series Napa Valley Half Marathon last Fall and I’ve been excited about running this race ever since.
My friend Tam, @Tamarathoner, flew up from LA to make a girls weekend out of it. I picked her up at the airport Friday and we drove to Napa. We stayed at the race hotel, Napa Valley Marriott.
Friday evening we picked up our packets and there was a “mocktail” party at the hotel.
Saturday morning the race started at 7am. We took the shuttle from the hotel. The weather was perfect. It was around 54 degrees when we started.
In the distance we could see the hot air balloons over the vineyards. So beautiful!
The race isn’t huge, so the course isn’t crowded. The whole vibe of the race from start to finish was so welcoming. There were lots of racecationers running.

I’m dying to do this race! Maybe next year–I was hoping I’d be pregnant for race day (and I am, so it all worked out) and knew it would just KILL me to be in Napa and not wine it up! Looks like the whole weekend was a blast. Congrats on another great race 🙂

I’ve seen Feetures at all the running shops I frequent but haven’t tried them.

Feetures just so happened to be the first running socks that the running store put me into when I started running 6 months ago. I loved them but had no idea how great they were until I went to a second running store to try on shoes. The other store put me in a different brand of socks. When walking around the store the socks creeped down my heel and off of my foot! I have a wider foot but a narrow heel. They are perfect for my feet. I love Feetures! Thanks for the chance to win!

I’ve never tried Feetures but am always willing to try something new, you just never know when you’ll find the next best thing. I’ve had some issues in the past with my feet, mostly blisters and have found a few brands that I can wear without problems…Maybe this will be one too!
