Did you not get a chance to register for the runDisney Wine and Dine Half Marathon in time? It sold out in a record 27 hours! You can still run for charity and get entry though. Here is the charity info from rundisney.com. For more info visit the charity tab on the Wine and Dine event page.
“Make your run count! The runDisney Charity Groups Program provides a great opportunity to support a charitable organization while running at one of our runDisney events. If you would like to run for a cause at the 2014 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend and would like to secure race entry and travel packages, please contact one of therunDisney Charity Groups below to learn more. Each organization has its own training and fundraising program, so contact them directly to find out what criteria participants must meet to be part of their group.”
Benefits of Booking with a Charity Group
I had a ball running last year dressed as Jessie from Toy Story!
Here is my post from my Wine and Dine race last year.
Did you register before Wine and Dine sold out?

I am passing on Wine & Dine this year. I decided to run the WDW marathon, and it’s just too much in a short period of time, especially since I will also be doing the Space Half. I can’t wait for next year, though!

I will “see” you at Space Coast!! 🙂

I missed it! It’s already sold out and at least 4 of the charity groups are also sold out! I’m waiting to hear back from the other two. If you know if anyone willing to sell their spot, I’m interested. I’m so bummed, I heard it sold out in 27 hours! Who knew?!?

Also check the travel providers. If you book a hotel room with them you can also register 🙂

Hi Susie. Check with the travel providers listed on the runDisney website. They also have bibs. RunDisney however doesn’t allow bib transfers or selling them, so I wouldn’t go that route. Good luck!

We are very late to the game but my son has been working hard to train for his first half. Silly me I promised him a ticket to a disney race. If anyone has a bib they won’t use, maybe we could strike a deal.

I wouldn’t recommend buying a bib from someone because runDisney will ban both of you if caught, but depending on the race you are interested in there are tons of charities and travel providers that have bibs still available for sold out races 🙂
