Wild Horses Couldn’t Drag Me Away…But I Did Stop And Take A Picture

Ok, sorry for the cheesy song pun, but seriously, how cool is it to see wild mustangs on a regular basis?!?!?  My mom lives in an area in Nevada, not far from Lake Tahoe, where wild mustangs roam around.  They were here before the houses were built, so I’m happy to see they have adapted and weren’t driven away.  They are probably loving all the green grass around.

The horses are not scared of cars one bit.  The picture above is a group of them just hanging out grazing on the side of the road.  One of my family’s favorite things to do in the evenings is to just go park in the empty field and watch the herds move around.

I hope they continue to roam and people don’t push them out.  They are beautiful to watch and I love my daughter growing up getting to see actual wild horses.
