Weekend Recap- I was on Mom Talk Radio last night!

Saturday was pretty uneventful other than cleaning.  I decided that cleaning with my 3 year old around me is like trying to wash a window with a muddy rag.

My daughter and I discovered that Fraggle Rock is now available on Hulu. I loved that show as a kid, so of course I  had to share it with my daughter.  Here is my post on Fraggle Rock and the other Jim Henson shows that are available on Hulu.

When I checked the mail on Saturday I had a fun surprise!  I had won a giveaway from the ladies at scootadoot.com and it had came.  I won a super cute headband from Sweaty Bands.  This is my first from Sweaty Bands and can’t wait to give it a try.  I am on an eternal quest to find a headband that will actually stay put on my head.  I will let you know what I think.

Sunday I had the honor of being on Maria Bailey’s talk radio show “Mom Talk Radio“.  It is nationally syndicated and you can also subscribe to her podcast.  Here is the link to the show I was on.  FYI: I’m on the segment called “Spotlight on Moms” which is around the 10 minute mark.

I worked on packing and organizing for our upcoming trip.  On Thursday we will fly from San Jose to Orange County for the Disneyland Half Marathon next weekend.  Here are some posts about the Disneyland Half Marathon and runDisney.

On Monday my daughter and I will fly directly from LAX to Savannah Airport to go spend the week at Disney’s Hilton Head Resort.  I have never been there and I’ve heard it is beautiful.  After Hilton Head we will be driving down to Florida with my sister in law and stay there for 5 days before flying back to California.  A lot of traveling in a short amount of time, but that is what I love to do 🙂
