My Week- Last day of school year, Runner’s World Run Streak and heading to Lake Tahoe

This last week has been a fun one!

My daughter, who is 3, finished her first year of preschool.  She now graduates the Blue Birds and will either be a Green Frog or Yellow Duck next year.  Oh boy!  I only enrolled her to go 2 days a week from 9-12:30, but the experience was so amazing for her.  She made great friends and learned so much.  I LOVED her teachers this year and actual started to tear up when I was saying bye.  I wish she could keep them as teachers for the rest of her school days, but I can only hope that I will love next years teachers just as much.

The last day was also pajama day!  I often wish I could wear my pajamas all day.  My daughter picked her princess “jamas” of course.

Notice the pictures on the cubbies behind my daughter. Her picture she is being a goofball (Lily) and the rest of the kids have normal smiles. That is SO my daughter. Those pictures were taken the first day of the school and were on the cubbies all year.

I love her cubby picture and I am SO glad I got to keep it. It is now on my refrigerator.

I zoomed in so you can read what her teachers wrote. It says “Our favorite memory with Lily is when…she would talk about Disneyland and sing like Aurora!” So cute, my little Disney baby.

I am continuing to streak!  The Runner’s World Run Streak that is.  I’ve been running at least 2 miles a day every day since Memorial Day and the streak ends 4th of July.  This week I ran 28 miles and I’m feeling pretty good.  If you want to keep up to date with all the streakers you can do so by searching #RWRunStreak.

On Father’s Day we are heading to Lake Tahoe and I can’t wait!  Lake Tahoe is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.  My mom lives up in that area as well and my daughter, who is also the only grandchild, will be so excited to see Nana.  Nana is also thrilled of course.
