HIIT is a combination of brief, very-high intensity bursts of cardio exercise followed by equal or longer periods of rest.

Some examples of a HIIT workouts are...

30 seconds to a minute of sprinting, followed by a minute or two of walking or slow jogging. Repeat this cycle for 15-30 minutes.

On a bike, pedal as hard and fast as possible for 30 seconds. Then, pedal at a slow, easy pace for two to four minutes. Repeat this for 15 to 30 minutes

Do squat jumps as quickly as possible for 30 to 90 seconds. Then, stand or walk for 30 to 90 seconds. Repeat this pattern for 10 to 20 minutes.
