Getting a run done on a treadmill doesn't have to be miserable. Here are some great treadmill workout ideas.
Pyramid Run: Start with a slower pace. Run 5 minutes, then increase pace. Increase 3 times until your fastest pace, then decrease following the same steps.
Interval Run: Intervals can be any set time frame. Example, run at a 6.5 for 3 minutes. Then walk for 1 min at 3.5. Repeat 10 times
Download iFit and do one of their trainer guided runs. They have great running workouts throughout the world, which makes time pass quickly.
Increase your incline: Try to increase your incline every couple minutes. Then decrease on your cool down.
Endurance Run: Pick your race pace and run for at least 30 minutes at that elevated pace.
Tip: If you need to get a long run in on a treadmill. Bring and iPad and watch a movie to help time pass quicker.
