How I Started My Fitness Journey

I have ran over 130 half marathons, 35 full marathons and countless other races. But I wasn't always a runner. Here is how my fitness journey started...

My daughter was born in 2010. I wanted to lose some baby weight and and I needed to get out of the house more.

So I would put my daughter in the stroller and go walking every day.

As the miles increased I wanted to try running some of it, so I got a jogging stroller.

I really enjoyed it and set a goal of running the Disneyland Half Marathon.

I thought it would be one and done, but I was wrong.

I fell in love with the running community, with races and with the runner's high. It helped my anxiety and I felt so good.

Here I am 11 years later and I'm still loving it.
