Healthy Turkey Chili Recipe

Ingredients

1 ½ lbs extra lean ground turkey breast 1 yellow onion (chopped) 2 cloves garlic (chopped) 1 can diced tomatoes 2 cans tomato sauce 2 cans kidney beans (rinsed and drained) 2-3 tsps chili powder 1 tsp dry mustard ¾ tsp dried basil leaves ¾ tsp black pepper 2 tsps ground cumin ½ teaspoon salt ½ tsp onion salt

Don't forget to rinse your beans

Saute onions, garlic and turkey.

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Top with onion, cheese, or other favorite toppings.

Freeze leftovers for an easy dinner down the road.
