Everything You Need To Know About Running A Marathon

If you are thinking about running a marathon, here is everything that you should know ahead of time.

A marathon is 26.2 miles. Any other distance is not a full marathon.

You HAVE to train for a marathon otherwise you could severely injure your body. Including your muscles, bones and even kidneys.

A good training plan should have you running 4-5 days a week and start at least 4 months before the race.

A marathon is hard on the body even for seasoned runners.

Make sure you check time cutoffs for the race you want to enter and that you can keep or exceed that pace.

Never wear anything new on race day. Make sure you have done long runs in the clothes, socks and shoes before you try to wear them for the marathon.
