Everything You Need To Know About Running A HALF Marathon

If you want to run a half marathon, here is everything that you should know ahead of time.

A half marathon is 13.1 miles. Any other distance is not a half marathon.

You really need to train for a half marathon otherwise you could severely injure your body. Including your muscles, bones and even kidneys.

A good training plan should have you running at least 4 days a week and start at least 4 months before the race.

A half marathon is a great goal and can definitely be accomplished when you train.

Make sure you check time cutoffs for the race you want to enter and that you can keep or exceed that pace.

Never wear anything new on race day. Make sure you have done long runs in the clothes, socks and shoes before you try to wear them for the 13.1 mile race.
