I flew in to Orlando from California Wednesday evening with just enough time to run to the expo before they closed and caught the very last night ever of the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. I’m a little devastated that they will no longer be a Christmas tradition.
This is why the next morning for the Walt Disney World 5k I decided to dress as my own little tribute to the Osborne Lights.
The weather was much colder than I had planned, so I am glad I decided on this race outfit because it was long sleeves.
The race started at 6am and the course is through Epcot.
Stay tuned for my recaps from the Walt Disney World 10k, Half Marathon and Full Marathon that I ran as part of the Dopey Challenge, 48.6 miles in 4 days.
Who else ran the Walt Disney World 5k?

Cute outfit! I am also sad about the Osborne lights being gone! Boo!
I was also there for marathon weekend. Can’t wait to read about the rest of your races!
