Waiting for the NYRR NYC Half Lottery Draw Results…not so patiently

Today is lottery drawing day for the NYC Half that runs in March.  I have NEVER got into a race through a lottery.  My husband and I actually have a joke that I must have the worst runners luck ever.  17 lotteries and trying still.  I either need to get faster so I can qualify, or luckier…not sure how to do that though.

It is pretty late in the day and my “My NYRR” profile hasn’t changed, so I’m not holding out to much hope…but fingers crossed?

This weekend I am running Summit Rock in Saratoga, CA.  It is a trail race, which isn’t something I typically do, so I am pretty excited about it.  I’m hoping it will be slightly warmer than the 25 degree mornings we have currently been having.
