A Visit To The Set of Disney Channel’s “Jessie”- Season 4 Premieres Friday, January 9th

My daughter told me that if she were to ever have a nanny she wants either Mary Poppins or Jessie.  If you have never seen Disney Channel’s hit show “Jessie” it is about a girl who is the nanny for 4 kids in NYC.  They get into some crazy situations and it is very entertaining.  My daughter loves it and it is one of the shows that I enjoy watching with her.

I had the pleasure of visiting the set of “Jessie” and getting to chat with some of the stars.  Everyone was so nice and exceeded even my highest expectations, which just makes me love the show even more.  The kids are getting a little older. I loved talking with them and hear a little about how their characters are evolving.  

Above is Peyton List, who plays Emma Ross, talking to Morgan and Maddy from Radio Disney.  She might be the most adorable and sweet person I have ever had the chance to interview.  She was such a joy.  Peyton shared with me that we may see Emma become a little bit of a rebel and could be a learning experience for all of us.  One of her favorite episodes is when Emma gets a bad boy boyfriend and gets to wear all black, so different for Emma’s character

Skai Jackson, who plays Zuri, told me that we get to see a little bit of a softer side of feisty Zuri this season, but don’t worry she will still be sassy Zuri with fun adventures. 

While talking to Debby Ryan, who plays Jessie Prescott, she shared that season 4 deals with more of how the kids are growing and problems that really exist for older children and tweens. Jessie is also searching for her own way and finding herself in season 4. Keep your eye out for an episode that Debby Ryan even directed!

Karan Brar, who plays Ravi, talked to me about how close the cast really is.  They pull pranks on each other like real brothers and sisters.  He says to be sure to stay tuned because it is a jam packed season and the Ross kids are going through big changes in their lives. 

Season 4 of  Disney Channel’s “Jessie” premieres Friday, January 9 at 8:30. The season 4 premiere is titled “But Africa Is So…Fari.” Just a refresher, remember how Jessie was going to marry Brooks, but didn’t (and oh man that wedding dress was to die for!)  In the premier the Ross kids are convinced Jessie is headed to Africa to rekindle her relationship with ex-fiancé, Brooks. In an effort to stop her, the kids make the trip to Africa and quickly find themselves on a wild adventure.  Tune to because I am sure this will be a fun adventure to watch.

I loved spending time on the set of Jessie and can’t wait to watch the new season with my daughter. P.S. If I ever renew my vows I want the wedding dress that Jessie wore when she almost married Brooks!
