Tropicana Las Vegas- Travel with Half Crazy Mama

I had such an unbelievably amazing time in Las Vegas recently and got to stay at the Tropicana. I hadn’t been to the Tropicana in years and it is so beautiful!  It is definitely not the Tropicana I remember.  In 2011 The Tropicana Las Vegas underwent a $200 million transformation.  The Tropicana is also now part of the Hilton Honors family so you can use your Hilton Honors to to book.

The Tropicana has a perfect location right on the strip across the street from the MGM Grand.

The Tropicana has a South Beach feel to the decor.   We got a tour of the entire hotel, restaurants, spa, pool and wedding locations.  Look at this beautiful outdoor wedding location.

I fell in love with the Havana Room.  It has chandeliers everywhere.  The Havana Room is exclusively just for private parties.  It has a patio that opens right up to the amazing pool area.  It was gorgeous!

I had not idea that all of this was inside the Tropicana.  Take a look at this pool area.  It rivals Miami locations.

The Tropicana just recently finished turning a whole floor with 32 guest rooms into 6 high roller suites.  They were pretty incredible.  Just look at this view from one of the rooms!

On our tour we saw the restaurant Biscayne, which is a nice steakhouse and Bacio Italian Cuisne.  Both the decor and the menus looked great.

Myself and the 3 other ladies with me on the media tour enjoyed champagne brunch at the Beach Cafe.  It has a great selection of fresh fruit, breakfast items, pastries and a whole carafe of mimosas was brought right to our table.

We got to see the theater and the meet and greet room. Here we are in all our red carpet glory 🙂

I loved our stay at the Tropicana Las Vegas and couldn’t believe the transformation from what the Tropicana use to be.  It is beautiful and transports you into a South Beach vibe.  I definitely recommend the Tropicana if you are looking for a Las Vegas hotel.
