Timex_One_GPSThe Timex IRONMAN® ONE GPS+ is not your average sports watch.  It is absolutely amazing.  Imagine keeping track of your pace, distance and time all on the same watch that also allows you to listen to music and message.  Yep, it does that!  The Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+ gives you the ability to be connected without having to carry your phone.  Some of the features includes:

  • Phone-free connectivity
  • Ability to track speed, distance and pace in real-time and instantaneously share performance metrics through an online platform
  • Powered by a Qualcomm processor with embedded modem to provide wireless connectivity without needing to carry a phone, and utilizing Qualcomm’s intelligent device and network connectivity management platform
  • Always-on, sunlight readable Qualcomm® MirasolTM display for easy reading without breaking stride during fitness activities
  • Tracking capabilities that include a custom-built safety solution
  • Built-in MP3 component that stores and plays music

Ironman_one_gpsI have used the Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+ over the last couple weeks on a ton of training runs and also my race this past weekend.  It is very user friendly.  I was initially intimidated before I took it out of the box that is might be too complicated, but that couldn’t be further from the truth!  The touch screen and buttons are very easy to manage.  The ONE GPS+ Portal can be used on a computer or as an app to setup, manage preferences, create contacts, link to your favorite sites and more.  I even got an email telling me that I needed to plug in my Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+ because it was low on battery!  It takes all the guess work out.  I love things that make life easier.

run_with_no_phoneLet’s talk music.  The Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+ has 4GB of storage.  That is roughly 1000 songs.  Perfect for even the longest run your will ever run.

The Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+ is compatible with bluetooth heart rate monitors.  It has 10 customizable interval timers.  It is even compatible with Strava, RunKeeper, and Under Armour Connected Fitness.  I haven’t found anything that it is missing.  I always wished I could combine a certain watch with another device to get everything I wanted in one and the Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+ has done that.  The Timex IRONMAN ONE GPS+ offers so many features, but has a very affordable price tag.

This would really help me with my first half marathon training! Ever since I got the iPhone 6 I haven’t been able to find an armband that I like!

This would be amazing to use during my training for my first ever run Disney event! It would be great to have all that info on my wrist instead of digging out my phone while trying to stay focused on my run.
