The New Mizuno WAVEKNIT R2

Thank you to Mizuno for sponsoring this post. All opinions are always my own.

Looking for the best running shoes? Running shoes for men and running shoes for women come in all different shapes and styles. It can be hard to know how to pick the best running shoes. There are running shoes for high arches, running shoes for flat feet, running shoes for overpronation, and everything in-between.  Below I am sharing a good running shoes for neutral runners. Good running shoes for neutral runners | marathon training | running shoes for beginners | mizuno | fitness

Running shoes come in so many different styles, which makes it even more important to know what you like and need in a running shoe.  I love running in Mizuno and have always had great luck with them.  I am a neutral runner.  Some people are stability runners.  Here is the difference: stability shoes are recommended for people who overpronate. This means your foot tends to roll inward a little when you are running. Neutral shoes are designed for people with a neutral gait.  Running in the wrong shoe can cause pain and injury.

Mizuno WAVEKNIT R2 womens running shoesI have ran in the Mizuno WaveRiders for awhile, so when I got a chance to try the new WAVEKNIT R2 I was really excited. With Mizuno’s latest knit running shoe, runners get the performance of a Mizuno running shoe that they’ve come to expect from Mizuno mixed with the style of the latest knit trend. No more will runners have to compromise performance for style or vice versa. With the WAVEKNIT R2, you get both!

The idea behind the knit design is so smart! Your foot changes shape with each pounding of the pavement. Too many running shoes have the perfect fit as long as the runner is not in motion. Mizuno’s latest shoe, the WAVEKNIT R2, uses advanced knit technology, creating a sock-like effect with the support and performance you’ve come to expect in a Mizuno running shoe. When your foot changes shape, Mizuno’s Knit Technology stretches and pulls just the right amount in every direction – making every run a great run.  Neutral Womens Mizuno Running Shoes

My overall thoughts about the Mizuno WAVEKNIT R2:

The Mizuno WAVEKNIT R2 is a fantastic shoe.  I have put about 75 miles on mine so far and they still feel just as good as they did at mile 3.  The toebox fits me well. My only recommendation is to SIZE UP. I normally wear a womens 8, but I got these in an 8.5 and they feel the same to me as the size 8 of my WaveRiders. I love them and they will be my running shoe for the foreseeable future.
