Starting out the runDisney Tower of Terror 10 Miler Weekend on the right foot- Kids Races and Expo #Tower10Miler

Our flight from California arrived very late Thursday night.  We took the Magical Express, settled in to our resort and got a good night sleep.  Friday while my daughter and husband hit the pool I hit the expo.

I laced up my Special Edition New Balance runDisney trainers and had my hand dandy Magic Band.

There were only minimal lines.  The race packet pickup and the expo were in the same building for this race.  Most runDisney races have them in 2 different buildings at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.  This race is a smaller runDisney race though.

On Saturday morning we headed back to the ESPN Wide World of Sports where my 3 year old was running the Kids Races.  She runs the 100m distance which is for 1-3 year olds.

The Kids Races are sent off in waves for everyones safety and I love running with my daughter.  For more info on runDisney Kids Races here is a post I wrote all about them.  My daughter got her medal ( or medallion, since it is made of rubberized plastic.  They are super cute!)

My daughter and I wore our matching INKnBURN run skirts.  She loves that she can wear a real run skirt like mama.

Tonight at 10:00pm I run the Tower of Terror 10 Miler.  My daughter is insisting on a costume change for me (I was planning to wear a certain costume, but always bring a backup.)  My daughter really wants me to wear what my backup costume is, so we shall see 😉

Who else will be running with me tonight?

I ran the TOT this year. I know what you meant about your sweat having know where to go. Very humid. Hard to peel my clothes off after the race. It was fun! My kids played in the park while my husband and I ran, then we rode the rides until 4 am. Glad it is over and off my list. Getting ready for the 5K, 10K, and Half in January – only 90 days aways!
