Who is running the Dopey Challenge? Did you read this?

We all got our pre-race email, which I’m not going to lie, I usually just skim through.  I happen to notice this though and glad I did:


To receive a Dopey Challenge Medal, Dopey participants must complete, within the pacing requirements, the 5K on Thursday, 10K on Friday, Half Marathon on Saturday, and Full Marathon on Sunday while wearing the correct Dopey Challenge Bib (Green Dopey Challenge Bib for the 5K and 10K and Gray Dopey Challenge Bib for the Half Marathon and Full Marathon) and check in at the Dopey Challenge tent after each race – Dopey Challenge tent is located after the Finish Line.

Participants will receive a Finisher wristband after finishing each race qualifying them for the next leg of the challenge and remain eligible for the Dopey Challenge Medal and the Goofy Challenge Medal.

The correct bib and correct Finisher wristband are both required to advance and remain eligible for the Dopey Challenge Medal and Goofy Challenge Medal.”

So don’t forget to get your wristband after each race before exiting the finish line area.  Also remember which bib is for which 2 races since there are 2 bibs.  Did I mention I’m getting REALLY excited! 🙂

      For their other challenges the bracelets have been like the hospital band kind. It sounds like they will cut off the bracelet from the race prior and than you get the new bracelet to move on with. I’m hoping for a flawless system 🙂
