runDisney Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend Medals Revealed
The wait is over. The runDisney booth at the Wine and Dine Expo had the much anticipated Star Wars Half Marathon, Rebel Challenge, 10k, 5k and Kids Races Medals on display. I’m not much of a Star Wars fan (don’t hate me), but even I have to admit that the Rebel Challenge medal is pretty frickin awesome! Here they are…
The Rebel Challenge is a spinner with Yoda and one side and Darth Vader on the other.

Swoon. In my head, I am going to run the Rebel Challenge next year. I mean. IF I’m going to be out there, I might as well make it worth my time and money, right????

A huge thank you for posting these photos. They’re the best photos I’ve seen yet. As a huge Star Wars fan, I love the medals, especially the 1/2 medal. It’s clearly inspired by the medals Princess Leia gives to Luke Skywalker and Han Solo at the end of Star Wars after they blew up the Death Star.
Honestly, this is the first time that I’ve thought the the 1/2 medal was better than the Challenge medal, but that’s mostly because the 1/2 medal is the medal I dreamed they would made for this race because it’s from the iconic scene involving medals being awarded in Star Wars.
