One of my favorite parts about the runDisney races are seeing all the costumes. Β What is more fun than being passed by a a pack of Minnie Mouses?
Since I’m trying to finish 6 costumes (4 for Dopey Challenge, 1 for Tinker Bell 10k and 1 for Tinker Bell Half) I thought I would look back at some of my costumes for inspiration.
Snow White at Princess Half 2013
Rapunzel at Disneyland Half 2012
The White Rabbit at Disneyland 10k
Princess Aurora at Disneyland Half 2013
Pirate Minnie Mouse at Tower of Terror 2013
Tinker Bell at Tinker Bell Half 2013
Jessie at Wine and Dine 2013.
What are you guys wearing?!?! Would love to hear about your costumes!

LOVE all the creative costume ideas. We’ve never run in a Disney Marathon but, they sure do look like fun!
Dressing as the white rabbit .. for a marathon… Genius!
Have a Happy New Year!

Okay, you are just too darn cute and SO creative. My mom, sister, and I are all running PHM ( and sis and I are running GSC) so guess who has to make sure everyone has a costume?
Half Crazy Mama | 31st Dec 13
I’m running GSC too, super excited! Is everyone going to be a different Princess? I always think that’s cute with a group π

So fun!!! I love all of them! I am so picky with what I wear to run that I would be afraid I wouldn’t be comfortable. Which was the most comfortable to run in? Can’t wait to see what you have in store for 2014!

Awww thank you so much π I always use normal running attire and than base the costume over that. Like my Snow White costume is a lululemon tank that I sewed on the cape, collar and ribbons so I knew I would be comfortable. I wear my spandex run shorts under the Sparkle Athletic skirts so nothing is ever against my skin that I’m not use to running in normally. My Aurora and Rapunzel are both Under Armour tanks. My Jessie costume is the INKnBURN performance “denim” skirt, which I run in normally, so that was great too. Honestly, the only thing that I would ever think twice about again was the Rapunzel braid was REALLY heavy and I had it bobby pined to my head, so after 13 miles I felt like that weight of it was pulling my hair out. haha I sometimes see people running in real polyester Halloween type costumes and I would have to think that it would be really hot and probably chafe. That would be a big bummer.
