runDisney Avengers Half Marathon Course
The runDisney Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Event Guide came out. I was looking at the course and had some thoughts…
Have you seen the course? Here is is:
So we are in the parks for less than 3 miles. That is the least amount of park time for any Disneyland race. I’m not going to lie, I’m a little disappointed. We get to run through Angel’s Stadium, but I would rather have an extra mile or 2 through the parks. What are your thoughts? Are you happy with this course?

I am not happy with the course. It’s less than three miles in the parks. If I wanted to run the streets of Anaheim, I could do that any day. But I do these races to run in the parks. I can justify the prices if I feel like the “Disney” value is there, but this race won’t do it for me. On the bright side, I might be able to PR at this one since there is so much street time.

Even worse if you look closely. You are only in the parks for maybe 1.5 miles. You won’t enter until around mile 1, that first mile is a loop around the backside of California Adventure like it was DL Half Weekend races. You go through real quick across the Esplanade, and then exit Disneyland near the first aid station. Have fun with the Tour-de-Anaheim!
