Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon Race Recap

Being part of the Rock ‘n’ Blog team this year has been so fun.  I ran the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose Half Marathon on September 27th, 2015.  It was perfect weather and a flat course.  My favorite part though was having race day VIP, which consisted of personal gear check, pre and post food, private indoor bathrooms and mimosas after the race.

Rock_n_roll_san_joseThe race didn’t start until 8:00am.  The half marathon and 10k runners all started in the same corrals.

FullSizeRenderIt was pretty toasty since the race started later in the morning than a lot of half marathons.  The gatorade along the course was the most delicious thing I had ever tasted because I was sweating like crazy.

IMG_7295I had a great time and I totally recommend running Rock ‘n’ Roll San Jose, especially if you are looking for a PR.  Having VIP was amazing and totally worth it. I had a great race day.
