It has been awhile since I’ve revisited my bucket list. I figured with some things crossed off and some new things to add, it would be a great time to take a look at it again. It helps keep me motivated. The best part of a bucket list is adding more as you go along in life and crossing things off that you complete. Here is my updated bucket list:
Have a Daughter
Finish a half marathon (I think I’m close to 70 now)
Get walked off a ride at Disneyland or Disney World (Not super exciting, but for some reason I always wanted to do this. It was the People Mover at Disney World that we were walked off)
Run NYC Marathon
Dine at Club 33 and be able to take my sister (Such a treat and I am so thankful for an amazing friend that made this happen)
Complete the Dopey Challenge (x3 now and I’m registered for number 4)
Visit the Lincoln Memorial (x2 now)
Run the Chicago Marathon (x2 now)
Running/Fitness Related:
Master some yoga inversion poses. I would love to master Scorpion Pose, but we shall see.
Run the Boston Marathon. I don’t know if I will ever be fast enough, but maybe one day or raise money for a deserving charity.
Hike to the top of Half Dome. I’m attempting (and hopefully accomplishing) this one in August. My friend and I secured are permits and have started training.
Get to the top of the Empire State Building AND the Eiffel Tower by stairs
Try a Triathlon
Run a half marathon with my daughter. (This one is at least 10 years away and hopefully she will want to do it too!)
SUP in Hawaii
Swim with sharks
Go cross country skiing
Travel Related:
Go tubing at the old Lihue Plantation in Kauai
Visit Yellowstone. This one is getting crossed off in June.
See tulip fields in
Visit the grand canyon
Travel around Italy
Attend a Broadway show
See the Northern Lights
Visit Mount Rushmore
Personal/Educational Goals:
Write a book
Finish my degree from Harvard University
Food Related:
Eat lobster in Maine
Try a cheesesteak in Philly
Get beignets in New Orleans
Have a Maryland crab cake
Enjoy New England clam chowder in New England
Master making homemade pasta
Dine at French Laundry
