Race Medal Display Rack

Wondering how to display your race medals? A medal display case can often be too costly or too small, but here is an easy, affordable, race marathon medal display rack idea that anyone can do. 

Completing a race is a big deal and you should display your medals proudly, but you don’t want to break the bank doing it. Professional medal racks are pricey. There is no need to drop a ton of coin on a medal display. 

I post a lot of pics on my Instagram account (@HalfCrazyMama) of my medal wall and I get asked all the time, “What kind of rack do you use?”.  You can find medal racks for sale online, but they are often small and expensive.  Here is my tip. CURTAIN RODS! I got these curtain rods at Target for a fraction of the medal racks online prices. 

Another tip, be sure to bolt them in tight to the studs in the wall because all those medals can get really heavy.  My husband secured these really well.

The nice part about curtain rods is they come in various sizes and most of them can extend as you need to make them bigger.  I am running out of room and going to need a 4th rod soon.
