Quick Recap of “Let the Adventure Begin: Live Action at the Walt Disney Studios” #D23ExpoDay2

Ok here is the short version of the Live Action Presentation by Walt Disney Studios at The D23 Expo:

No there was no new information on Star Wars other than they are making Episode 7.

Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman joined very charming Tom Hiddlestone on stage for the presentation of the new Thor move.

Angelina Jolie was actually on stage with the presentation of Maleficent and it looks sooooooo good!  It comes out next summer.

They are making a new live action Cinderella movie.  Helena Bonham Carter will be the fairy godmother and Kate Blanchett will be the evil stepmother.

They are making the stage show Into the Woods  into a movie and I am very very excited about this after seeing the cast.  Johnny Depp will be the big bad wolf.  Other cast members include Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, Emily Blunt and Chris Pine.

We saw a presentation for the new Captain America movie coming out and some of the cast came out including Chris Evans.

It was officially announced that George Clooney has signed on to the new Tomorrowland movie.

Ty Burrell came out in a very tiny car with the presentation of the new muppets movie.

Jason Schwartzman and BJ Novak came out for the presentation of Saving Mr.Banks. They paly the Sherman brothers in the movie. They ended they show playing Let’s Go Fly a Kite from Mary Poppins and Richard Sherman came out on stage.

Overall I was very impressed by the presentation.  Stay tuned for a more in depth post later with more pics and all the movies.
