Personalizing Back To School Necessities With My Cricut

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.

Whether your child is homeschooling, distance learning, or attending school in person, it is that time of year to gather your school supplies! My daughter LOVES organizing and gathering everything she needs for school. I remember being the same way when I was little. New school supplies, lunchbox, backpack school clothes, and pencil box were all so exciting. I use to just label her backpack, lunchbox, pencil case, and all her supplies, but I decided it would be so much more fun to make it special using my Cricut Air Explore 2. My daughter also loved the idea.

Using Cricut we brainstormed ideas and found so many fun projects in the Cricut Design Space. We also created custom projects for her new school supplies.

Personalized Folders

Because we are homeschooling I wanted to label her folders in a fun way. This worked out so cute! We made them for Social Studies, Math, Coding, Language Arts, and Spanish too. Each one is a different color. We just picked a font in Cricut Design Center. It was super easy.

Personalized Backpack

Instead of paying for expensive backpack embroidery, I used Holographic Cricut Iron On and put my daughter’s name on her bag. In real life this holographic color looks really purple and is super cute. Just use Cricut Design Center to pick your font and design. Super easy!

Creative Custom T-Shirt

We always take a back to school picture and have special outfits picked out, but because we are homeschooling this year I thought this shirt was fun to commemorate it. “My back to home school shirt” is fun for pictures, but also will be a fun keepsake.

The instructions below will walk you right through it, but you can make this with Infusible Ink or you can change your settings and use Iron-On as well.

For these projects I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 and my Cricut EasyPress to iron on.

Here are other ideas of some great items you can personalize with your Cricut!

Back to school this year is so different for everyone. Why not make it more fun? I bet your child’s teach would appreciate a custom mug or cute shirt. Your child would probably also love to help you make it! I hope everyone has a wonderful new school year, no matter what that looks like for you.
