Thank you to the Omni Shoreham for accommodations. All opinions are always my own.I had the pleasure of staying at the Omni Shoreham on my trip to run the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon DC. This hotel is alive with so much history. Did you know that every president’s inauguration since Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1933, has featured a ball at the Shoreham? Remember when Bill Clinton played the sax at his inaugural ball? That was at the Omni Shoreham!
The staff at the Omni Shoreham was kind, gracious, and very helpful. I was running late on Friday to get to the expo due to traffic from the airport. I needed to hop on the metro ASAP to get to the DC Armory where the expo was. The bellman kindly offered to hold my bags until I got back to help me save time. He directed me to the nearest metro which is basically right across the street, so convenient! I made it in time and when I got back to the hotel I checked in, retrieved my bags and headed to my room.
