No NYC Marathon for Me
I was really hoping, for the 3rd year in a row, to get into the NYC Marathon, but that is not the case. One of these years, fingers crossed, I will get in.
Congrats to all the awesome people that DID get in and I can’t wait to hear all about it 🙂

Major bummer! Do they still do the thing where you get guaranteed entry if you’re rejected x number of times?

Unfortunately they did away with the guaranteed entry after 3 years of entering the lottery without getting picked 🙁 Oh well, I will just keep entering 🙂

I didn’t get picked either! This was the first time I entered the lottery and I couldn’t stop refreshing that darn NYRR page to see if my status would change.
Oh well, maybe next year??

I’m disappointed I did not get in, but then I am also floored at the revenue generated by the lottery ALONE!!!
