Medal a day for motivation- Day 2 Big Sur Half Marathon 2013
I picked the Big Sur Half Marathon Medal as Medal a Day for Motivation Day 2 because it is so different than other medals. All the Big Sur Medals, including the full, 21 miler, half, 10.6 miler and 9 miler, are all made out of ceramic and leather.

That’s a gorgeous and unique medal. I have zero plans of running Big Sur (I don’t know how I would do out west with the altitude and conditions) but never say never.
