Marine Corps Marathon Lottery Opens March 13th!
I had the pleasure of running the Marine Corps Marathon this past October and the whole weekend was so memorable. I got to explore DC, participate in a shakeout run with Runner’s World, and then the next day run the marathon. AMAZING! I definitely recommend running the MCM at least once in your life. If you want to try your luck, the Marine Corps Marathon lottery opens March 13th and stays open through March 23rd. The race itself is October 25th, 2015.

Thinking about it… I have never run a full before. Almost 20 half marathons under my belt. What do you think? Would this make for a good first marathon?

The course has a few hills, but it is gorgeous. I definitely think it would be a great first marathon. This one or Chicago. They both have amazing spectators and are really well organized races. 🙂 Good luck!!!
