ivivva, created by lululemon athletica for girls, threw epic summer festival!

If you are as big of a fan of lululemon athletica as I am then you may or may not know about the girls line they created, ivivva.  This summer ivivva threw epic summer festivals from coast to coast to connect girls through movement and inspire them to dream big. Their last stop was in San Francisco and took place this past weekend, Saturday, July 23 at City View at Metreon.

unspecified-1Over 250 girls joined ivivva for some fun with a tribal marker artists, a hair braiding team, photobooth, music, yoga, acro yoga, and more!  The event featured a yoga class co-led by 11-year old Sydney, one of the youngest certified yoga instructors in the country, and local teacher Heather McKenzie. The event also had inspiring speakers from ivivva’s Dreams & Goals program including ivivva Director of Brand & Community, Allison Forsyth.

unspecified-2Additionally, the girls participated in a POUND workout, the world’s first cardio jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums.  At ivivva’s Coast to Coast Summer Festival in San Francisco, POUND had the largest class of tween girls they have ever led.

unspecifiedAs many of you know my daughter is into running, dance, gymnastics, and did her first triathlon and ivivva has been there every step of the way.  The clothes hold up to my daughter’s constant use and I love the messaging of the ivivva brand.
