The Incredible Disneyland 5k Recap
runDisney switched it up a bit and the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend events this year were Pixar themed. The 5k, which took place on Friday, was “The Incredibles” themed. I was running the race with my friend Cam, she writes GrowingUpGoofy.com , and we decided to mesh the super heroes with the Disneyland spirit and be Incredible Minnies.
The race started at 5am and it was HOT! As in 75 degrees at 5am. The humidity was also brutal, but we still had a ton of fun.
We first made our way through California Adventure. We found Mrs. Incredible hanging out there.
I loved all the projections that was themed with the race. This one of Dash was in Hollywood Land.
After leaving DCA we were onto Disneyland! Frozone was in Tomorrowland.
A castle selfie is always a must…even if you are so hot that you are as red as your shirt.
Jessie was near the entrance to Frontierland.
And right before we exited Disneyland we found Mr. Incredible by the Main Street Train Station.
We sweated buckets, but had a great time doing it!

glad you had a good race, that was the day we were at DL – September 1, my daughter’s 6th birthday. I didnt race though! Glad I didnt sign up because of the heat.

I hope you guys still had a great birthday celebration despite the heat! We did the parks that day too, but kept retreating to the hotel air conditioning off and on 🙂
