…so if a man uses 13,000 words a day and a woman uses 20,000 words a day, it is my estimate that my little monkey uses 113,970 words a day. It is baffling. I talk to some parents that say their kids never talk. Not mine…she is the most talkative person I have ever met. 89% of the time I totally love our conversations, but I’m not going to lie…the other time I feel like I’m losing my mind. I constantly have to be on my toes with answers to some of the most random questions that even my drunk friend wouldn’t think of. This is part of motherhood, it’s a package deal. I thank my lucky stars everyday for my amazing, beautiful and healthy daughter, but I understand why certain moms I knew growing up would go on “silent” retreats for a weekend. I use to think that a silent retreat sounded awful…now I think it sounds like a great weekend every now and then.
Ok, that is my vent. Am I alone? Do your little ones keep you on your toes with constant questions and talking?
