Heat Wave Giveaway! Nuun Hydration and Nathan Fire & Ice Bottle

We are having a record breaking heat wave where I am and I thought I would do a giveaway!  Maybe this will help the powers that be cool us down a little.  Anything over 90 degrees = to hot in my book.

For the giveaway I’m hoping to keep one of you super hydrated with a tube of Cherry Limeade Nuun Hydration and a Nathan Fire & Ice Water bottle.

The Nathan water bottle is BPA free and insulated to keep your liquid extra cold.  It was 127 in Vegas yesterday…I wonder if it even works than?  If you win and you live in Vegas let me know 🙂

For those that don’t know what Nuun Hydration is I can’t tell you enough how much I love Nuun!  I use it daily.  Check them out!  Nuun’s Website  Cherry limeade is one of my favorite Nuun flavors because it is one that is also caffeine enhanced.  You just add the tab to water, let it dissolve and voila you have what you need to help you stay hydrated with only 6 calories.  Plus it tastes yummo!

  1. Kristen @ The Smith Summary | 2nd Jul 13

Heat wave!! Although today has been rather pleasant – I just wish this weather would stick around all summer!

  2. Cassie | 2nd Jul 13

We have had a pretty mild summer so far but I have learned that I do not run well in the heat!

  3. Jennifer | 2nd Jul 13

Was hot here in Tennessee last week, but this week we’re in the upper 70s & low 80s…was so nice to run this morning with a temp of 60 at 5:45.

  4. Dawn O. | 2nd Jul 13

Sunny FL, here. Need, need, need to win 🙂 Blazing hot here!

  5. evelinruns | 2nd Jul 13

Hawaii is always more or less hot, and to be honest I really haven’t fully adjusted to it even though I’ve been here more than 1 year now. Can’t seem to get my Swedish/Norwegian body to really embrace the heat… Kind of miss living in a place with “real” seasons (and maybe a little bit cooler summers) to be honest!

  6. Ben Jacobs | 2nd Jul 13

We’ve been alternating between a heat wave and pouring rain. Neither is my favorite situation for running.

  7. Robin | 2nd Jul 13

So humid in FL! Need my nuun and my waterbottle!!

  8. Teresa M. | 2nd Jul 13

It’s been below normal temps here near Chicago lately.

  9. Clinton M | 2nd Jul 13

    ugh…having a heat wave. 109 sucks

  10. ClevelandJoe @ The Frolicking Fells | 2nd Jul 13

We are having a good summer so far – it was only excessively hot and humid for a week or so!

  11. Mary | 3rd Jul 13

I live in England and I think summer has finally arrived! Went for a very humid 5 mile run tonight!

  12. Mandy | 4th Jul 13

We are having a very hot summer so far!!!

  13. Kristen E | 4th Jul 13

DEF having a heat wave – it’s summer in Orlando!!! HOT & HUMID!

  14. Lauren | 4th Jul 13

It’s been a nice summer so far but here in MD it’s SO humid! It has been storming a lot but the humidity will not let up! Every time I run outside I’m drenched in sweat. Ew.

  15. Olivia J | 4th Jul 13

I have been spending a lot of time indoors for the past few days because we have been getting so much rain here in NC. I will be glad to get back to the normal dry, hot weather of summertime so I can enjoy some outside runs! On the bright side I don’t have to water the garden.

  16. Noelle | 5th Jul 13

Lots of storms where I am!

  17. Carrie H | 5th Jul 13

We are enjoying a very wet summer!!

  18. DisneyBride | 5th Jul 13

Its a heat wave. We had some rain, but this is Florida – so the heat is a part of life.

  19. Bob Smith | 5th Jul 13

Having a heat wave here in Mass. Hope everyone is having a good summah!

  20. JILL @MRScrashmattb | 6th Jul 13

Atlanta has been hot, but after long months of cooler temps I’m enjoying the heat. It is weird running at 8pm just so I can run when it’s less hot/humid but I have a few evening races on the schedule so it’s not all bad. This week has been VERY wet, which hasn’t been ideal either. I have been staying hydrated with NUUN, love the stuff!!!

  21. Abby | 6th Jul 13

I hate hot summers so I moved to Washington so that its only hot for a little bit 🙂

  22. Laurel C | 7th Jul 13

It’s been perfect weather in Santa Cruz!

  23. Karen @karenlovestorun | 7th Jul 13

The summer heat has been a killer this week! I’m not sure when I’ll get used to this heat and humidity :p

  24. Charlene | 8th Jul 13

Having an awful heat wave here in the NE – Philly, DC, NYC, it’s bad everywhere, despite my travels, I cannot get away from it.

  25. Kim 2S4O | 8th Jul 13

If there wasn’t so much humidity the heat would be bearable, but it is like running in soup! I definitely prefer spring and fall for running, but make my best effort to get my miles in early in the morning when it’s more tolerable outside!

  26. Bonnie | 8th Jul 13

It’s been hot but I can’t complain. It’s better than snow!

  27. Cecil @ Dreadmill Drummer | 9th Jul 13

We are bouncing. It will be in the upper 70s for a high and then it will go up to upper 90s for a day or 3. It’s unnerving!

  28. Leslie | 9th Jul 13

We’ve had a rain wave in Atlanta for the last week but now headed towards a heat wave.
