Heat Wave Giveaway! Nuun Hydration and Nathan Fire & Ice Bottle
We are having a record breaking heat wave where I am and I thought I would do a giveaway! Maybe this will help the powers that be cool us down a little. Anything over 90 degrees = to hot in my book.
For the giveaway I’m hoping to keep one of you super hydrated with a tube of Cherry Limeade Nuun Hydration and a Nathan Fire & Ice Water bottle.
The Nathan water bottle is BPA free and insulated to keep your liquid extra cold. It was 127 in Vegas yesterday…I wonder if it even works than? If you win and you live in Vegas let me know 🙂

Was hot here in Tennessee last week, but this week we’re in the upper 70s & low 80s…was so nice to run this morning with a temp of 60 at 5:45.

Hawaii is always more or less hot, and to be honest I really haven’t fully adjusted to it even though I’ve been here more than 1 year now. Can’t seem to get my Swedish/Norwegian body to really embrace the heat… Kind of miss living in a place with “real” seasons (and maybe a little bit cooler summers) to be honest!

It’s been a nice summer so far but here in MD it’s SO humid! It has been storming a lot but the humidity will not let up! Every time I run outside I’m drenched in sweat. Ew.

I have been spending a lot of time indoors for the past few days because we have been getting so much rain here in NC. I will be glad to get back to the normal dry, hot weather of summertime so I can enjoy some outside runs! On the bright side I don’t have to water the garden.

Atlanta has been hot, but after long months of cooler temps I’m enjoying the heat. It is weird running at 8pm just so I can run when it’s less hot/humid but I have a few evening races on the schedule so it’s not all bad. This week has been VERY wet, which hasn’t been ideal either. I have been staying hydrated with NUUN, love the stuff!!!

If there wasn’t so much humidity the heat would be bearable, but it is like running in soup! I definitely prefer spring and fall for running, but make my best effort to get my miles in early in the morning when it’s more tolerable outside!
