Heading to Florida- Cape Canaveral or Bust
Tomorrow my family and I are heading to Florida. We go about 5 times a year, so it isn’t that unusual, BUT out of all the times I have been there I have yet to go to Cape Canaveral. My grandfather worked for NASA, so I grew up hearing stories about the space shuttles and have always been fascinated. This trip I am bound and determined to make it to the Kennedy Space Center.
My husband has family that lives in Florida, so some other things on our agenda are the Chili Cookoff in Ft. Pierce and a character meal at the Disney Vero Beach Resort. I love the Disney Vero Beach Resort. It is so beautiful there and I highly recommend it as a nice relaxing vacation getaway with still lots of fun for the kids. My daughter loves the mini golf, pool and campfires they have.
Fingers crossed on Cape Canaveral. I will keep you posted 🙂

The Country Inn and Suites is the closest hotel to KSC that is in Cape Canaveral.
