Happy Father’s Day To Past And Present

I want to wish all the amazing dads out there a happy Father’s Day.  I would love to give a big shout out to my husband.  Between him and my daughter I often feel like I have 2 kids, but he is a great dad (or deedee as our daughter calls him).  You are the most amazing father and for that I thank you and I love you.  This is a picture of my husband and our daughter on her first trip to Disney World at 4 months.

My father lost his battle with colon cancer when I was 16 and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him.  My daughter asks me daily about her grandfather and what he was like and I am happy to tell her all about him.  He was the smartest, kindest, most loving awesome dad ever.  I miss him tons.  He would be so proud of his granddaughter and he would have been the coolest granddad ever.  Here is an amazingly ’80s picture of my dad, with my sister the (older one) and I (the little one), in front of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland.
