Guns and Ammo Garage Las Vegas- Travel With Half Crazy Mama

On a recent media tour of Las Vegas I got to go to the Guns and Ammo Garage and, you guessed it, shoot a big gun!  I have never been to an indoor shooting range before, let alone one where you can shoot a huge selection of guns.

They picked us up at a hotel in their shuttle.

Guns and Ammo Garage is located not far from the strip and it didn’t take long to get their at all.

The facility has a shop and in the back is the desk where you can see what guns they offer and fill out the correct forms.

When we were waiting we can watch the other people inside the shooting range.  It got me very excited for my turn.

I was so impressed by all their safety precautions and well trained staff.  Each group has someone that is in charge, plus a couple other staff members inside to assist as well.  One member of the group shoots with the staff member at a time.  She taught me the correct way to hold the gun and what to expect.

They set everything up and make sure all safety protocols are met.

I got to shoot a Glock and an Uzi.  Rachel, who blogs at theLateFarmer.com and was one of the 4 women in our group, shot a grenade launcher!

I really enjoyed the experience and it was SO different than anything I had ever done in Vegas before.
