…not even joking. My daughter has a gap between her two front teeth that put David Letterman and Madonna to shame. People always think she has lost a tooth. Not the case. Here is an example to give you a visual:

When my parents took me to an orthodontist to discuss braces when I was young they did the gross molds and then discussed the results with us. Apparently my jaw alignment was perfect, but he recommended braces for cosmetic reasons. My parents said “No”. Basically they were sorry, but not sorry, cosmetic braces wasn’t in their budget.

I have always secretly wished I had straighter teeth. No adult wants to go get metal braces though. Now that I learned about Invisalign I think I need to reevaluate.

I am in the last 4 months of my Invisalign treatment!!! One of the best things I’ve done for myself… I too had parents that did not look in to braces for my Sister and I. She used the standard brace treatment, which was corrected faster than mine, but very few knew of my treatment as Invisalign is hard to detect!! I LOVE Invisalign.
