A new family movie is coming to DVD September 24th, Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit. I got to review this fun family movie and I have a copy to giveaway!!!
Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit has a great cast of voices including Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Tom Arnold (Hit and Run) and Academy Award® nominee Michael Clarke Duncan (Best Actor in a Supporting Role, The Green Mile, 1999) along with pop singing sensation (the smash hit “Friday”) Rebecca Black.
The movie is about Fu the rabbit and his journey. Fu is a chef, but made a promise that he has to keep. Jon Heder is the voice of Fu. I always find Jon Heder hilarious and him voicing Fu was no exception.
Fu has help along the way from friends, such as Penny who is a Kung Fu prodigy and her sidekick Biggie.
They need to help save aging Shifu’s Martial Arts Academy. I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I started the movie, but I found it very endearing. Every character is on a journey of their own of self discovery. The movie offers Kung Fu action for the people in the family that like that, but also a fun female lady, who my daughter loved, in Penny. I think Michael Clarke Duncan’s voice as Slash, the bad guy panda might be my favorite part though. He was really good and I don’t normally like the bad guys, haha.
Here are some fun clips to check out.
Guess what?!?! I bet you guessed, I have a copy to give away! This would be fun for your next family night.
