It’s Best Friends Christmas Party Day!

Every year since we were sophomores in high school my 4 best friends and I have done a holiday party.  We choose a day months in advance so we can all be in town and plan our busy holiday schedules around it.  There were a few years where we did a brunch at a nice restaurant instead of dinner at someone’s house, but we always set aside time for each other.  I look forward to it every year!  Today is the day!

Now that we are all married our husbands get to join in the fun.  The 10 of us bring tons of food, wine, dessert, and we even do a white elephant present exchange.  The present exchange is one of my favorite parts because you never know what people are going to bring.  Last year I learned about the game Cards Against Humanity, so wrong…yet so funny.

I’m in charge or appetizers this year and I am busy prepping those all day.  I hope you all get to enjoy the company of friends this holiday season.  You can’t pick your family, but you get to pick your friends and I sure love mine 🙂
