I had the pleasure of getting a sneak peak at the new Fisher Price Little People App that is being released tomorrow, October 22.
As most of you know I have a 3 year old daughter and we travel A LOT, so our iPads and iPhones offer great entertaining. I love apps that are geared at younger children. Fisher Price has a new Little People app geared to 2-5 year olds. Fisher Price Little People Flower Power Interactive Storybook App has “read to me” or ” read it myself” functions. It is narrated by Genevieve Goings, who most of you probably know from the fun shorts on Disney Junior called Choo Choo Soul.
The app is VERY interactive and my 3 year old LOVES it. She doesn’t read on her own so she does the “read to me” function. It asks questions and my daughter touches the different options. The words that are being read are shown on the screen, so it also encourages the reading process.
The only problem I have with the app was that I put it on MY iPad instead of my daughter’s and she won’t give my iPad back.
FYI- On Oct 22, the app FOR ONE DAY ONLY will be .99cents. It will be $3.99 after that. It is available through iTunes only for now.
I hope your little ones enjoy this app as much as my daughter does.
I was given this app to review for free as a member of the Entertainment New Media Network, but was not compensated for this post. All opinions are always my own.
