I FINALLY got entry into a race through a lottery! #NYCHalf

Ok, if you are a regular reader than you have heard about my bad luck with race lotteries.  I had entered 18 and never had got in ANY of them.  Well kids, my luck has changed!!!  Knock on wood, I don’t want to curse it.

I initially didn’t get into the NYC Half Marathon through the lottery, but than I got an email saying they are adding more spots and would I like to opt in, so I did.  Low and behold…I GOT IN!!!  I’m doing the happy dance.  The NYC Half Marathon is a bucket list race for me.  Now it is just the logistics of getting across the country in mid March (and the week before my daughter’s birthday.)

I will keep you all posted and can’t wait to share the experience 🙂
