Frigo® Cheese Heads® Light String Cheese has always been one of my favorite on the go snacks. It is easy to eat, yummy, low calorie, has good protein and very satisfying. I especially love the Frigo® Cheese Heads® brand because the Light String Cheese doesn’t taste “light” if you know what I mean. It tastes like it’s full calorie counterpart.
The Frigo® Cheese Heads® Light String Cheese is a great snack, BUT it is also great to cook with. One of my favorites is my super easy to make Zucchini Boat “Pizzas”.
All you need is zucchini, tomato sauce and Frigo® Cheese Heads® Light String Cheese. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the zucchini is half. With a small spoon dig a trench down the center of the zucchini.
Put desired amount of tomato sauce in the trench.
Cut string cheese in half and put in each trench. Place in baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. I like my cheese a little crispier on top so I bake it for 40 minutes, but if you don’t want it quite as “well done” just bake for less time.
