Family Road Trip to Yosemite and Lake Tahoe

Last summer we took a family road trip from California to Yellowstone.  This summer we are in the midst of a road trip to Yosemite and Lake Tahoe.  I love the quality time we get as a family with these kinds of trips.  We play the license plate game, road trip bingo, and Disney Guess Who.  We get to explore fun little towns and new learn about new places.  

This summer taking my little monkey to Yosemite was important to me because last summer I hiked Half Dome and I will be doing it again in August.  She had never been to Yosemite and kept asking me questions about it.  I showed her pictures and videos, but it really doesn’t do it justice.  When we first turned the corner coming down into the Yosemite Valley and caught a glimpse of Half Dome Little Monkey said, “Woah! It is WAY bigger than I pictured it!” That right there made the whole trip worth while.  I can’t wait to continue on to Lake Tahoe.
