Everything About the runDisney Princess Half Marathon 2018- The Course, The Medals, The Corrals and Bibs

The runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend is always the end of February at Disney World and this year the dates are February 22-25, 2018.  The Princess Half Marathon will be celebrating it’s 10th year!  The weekend features the Health and Fitness Expo, a 5k, 10k, half marathon and kids races.  If you register for the Fairy Tale Challenge (Previously called the Glass Slipper Challenge) that means you are running the 10k and the half marathon to earn the extra bonus medal.

The theme of the medals change regularly.  This year the 5k medal is Rapunzel themed.

Merida is on the 10k medal.

And the original Disney princess, Snow White, is on the 10th anniversary Princess Half Marathon medal.

The Fairy Tale Challenge medal is Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage.

The course starts off near Epcot.  You run to the Magic Kingdom and back to Epcot finishing in the parking lot.  If you ran the Walt Disney World 5k, 10k, or half marathon then you are familiar with the courses because they are the same.

The weather for the weekend can range anywhere from really hot and humid to really cold.  It’s Florida and the one this we know for sure is the weather there can be really unpredictable.  I would pack your normal running clothes, throw away layers, and a mylar blanket to make sure you are prepared.

You can print out your waivers and look up your race bib numbers here.  After you know your bib number you can come look up your corral here.
