Thank you to prAna for sponsoring this post. All opinions are always my own.
As summer is ending I try to fit in as much outdoor activity as I possibly can. Hiking with friends in the mornings, running my favorite trail, swimming with my daughter after school, and long luxurious walks with my dog. I love the summer weather and sunlight until late in the evening.
Each season brings it’s own goodness, but there is always something about summer that is magical. The end of summer marks back to school, leaves starting to dry up, weather being a little more unpredictable, and the busy schedules that come with it all.
prAna makes clothing that help me enjoy these end of summer days to the fullest. Their clothing is made from organic and recycled materials. prAna’s commitment to sustainability makes me happy to shop from them. I want to support companies that care about our planet and the condition we leave it in for our children.
I always want to spend as much time outdoors with my daughter as possible when she is home from school. I want her to love the outdoors and appreciate it. prAna creates clothes that are perfect for this mother daughter time. The clothing is easy to move in and wash, and that is what is important to me when enjoying these last fews days of summer. I also love spending time outdoors alone with my thoughts and now that school is back in, but summer is still here, I get that time. Seriously though, I’m obsessed with the detailing on my Itzel Capris Pants.
I live in my prAna clothing. My favorite pair of pants to hike in, my lightweight Prairie Grove sweater I wear in the mornings over my tank, the most comfortable pair of yoga pants I own, all from prAna. Check out this amazing video about 5 women who didn’t know each other, were put together to explore the Middle East and search for surf. You read that correctly. It is breathtakingly beautiful. This just totally reignited my desire to travel. Some of the most enjoyable times for me, but also some of the most educational, has been while traveling.
Do you have any big plans for the end of summer?
