Enchanted 10k Recap- Glass Slipper Challenge

I always love a runDisney race and the Enchanted 10k was no exception.  I had ran the 5k the day before and was running the Princess Half Marathon the next day (as part of the Glass Slipper Challenge).  As usual, my 3 year old was my stylist and requested I dress as Ariel.  How could I say no?

I got up not so bright and early, it was still dark outside at 3am.  The race started at 5:30am.

As we started and made our way out of the Epcot parking area, Elsa from Frozen was up above on an overpass giving us encouragement.  A little ways past mile 1 was Pocahontas.

In the backstage area of Epcot was the Toy Soldiers from the Christmas Parade.  I love that parade, so of course I had to stop for a picture with them.

We entered Epcot from backstage between Mexico and Norway.  As we made our way around World Showcase I found Jiminy Cricket in Italy.

Princess Tiana and company were in America.

Marie the cat was in France, but I didn’t stop for a picture.

We made our way out of Epcot at the back entrance and over to Boardwalk.  Baseball Goofy was in front of ESPN Zone.

After we ran around the Boardwalk area and past Beach Club we entered a backstage area before we came back into Epcot. Donald Duck was there waiting for me.

The course was the same as the Walt Disney World 10k during marathon weekend back in January when I ran the Dopey Challenge, but I still had a great time.

After the race I of course had to take a picture with my twin Ariel. haha
