I had the pleasure of being able to attend the Disney Junior Doc McStuffins Doc Mobile event in LA at The Grove. I took my daughter who is 3.5 and my friend’s son, Owen, who will be 3 in December.
The event had a lot of different entertainment areas. There was a DJ playing music, games and entertainment with the kids.
There was an area with great big foam pieces that you could build with. They were teaching the kids all sorts of things at the event like moving your body, food groups and hydration.
They gave the kids place mats with information about the food groups.
We started to get closer to the Doc Mobile, which was a big Airstream trailer that they had made to look like Doc McStuffin’s pink toy Doc Mobile from the show.
When it was our turn to go inside the kids have a choice whether or not they would like to put on the lab coat and dress up like Doc. My daughter of course opted to dress up.
The coats had to be returned when done, but they each got a paper stethoscope to keep.
Once inside the Doc Mobile both sides of the trailer walls had the Doc tools to perform a checkup on your toy.
Once out of the Doc Mobile there was a station set up to teach the kids about hydration.
Each child was given a water bottle to keep to help them stay hydrated. My daughter picked the purple and Owen got the blue.
We had a great time and the kids loved the event. The only part that was a little bummer was the line to meet Doc McStuffins herself was over an hour long after we had already spent about an hour going through the event. The kids being young needed some food and to burn off some energy at that point, so we all waved to Doc from a distance and went to lunch.
My daughter is still telling everyone she sees that she went to the ” Doc Mofeel”. Making memories is so fun 🙂
I am a member of Entertainment New Media Network and was able to attend this event as press, but I was not compensated for this post. All opinions are always my own.
